WandaVision primarily takes place inside an idealized, idyllic, sitcom-themed unreality. One that we’re still not sure is actually happening in any form, or that is strictly a product of the Scarlet Witch‘s reality-altering powers. In any case, the town that most of the show takes place in is called “Westview,” which doesn’t have any explicit Marvel counterpart to speak of, but that still calls to mind the setting of a number of Wanda and Vision’s comic book adventures....

In case you thought WandaVision’s sitcom homages were a passing fad, episode 3 “Now in Color” makes clear that the influences are here to stay…for now at least. Just as episodes 1 and 2 drew inspiration from The Dick Van Dyke Show, Bewitched, and I Dream of Jeannie, so too does this third installment honor some classic TV series. Rather than hanging around the ‘50s or ‘60s, however, this episode bumps WandaVision up to gorgeous ‘70s technicolor....

If for some reason you didn’t get a chance to see 2011’s Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur, you should know that there is a scene in that movie that features Shaggy single-handedly taking out a gang of bikers. Not long after that movie was released, a YouTuber decided to set that shocking scene to some incredible Dragon Ball fight music. It appears that the original video has since been taken down, but here’s a reupload that will show you just how amazing it truly is....

Why wasn’t T.K. the leader? After all, he had more experience with the Digimon since he was part of the original team in season one. He was much more relaxed, personable, and able to take on problems intelligently instead of stumbling into them face first. On the flipside he did have a dark serious streak thanks to the trauma of his previous adventures but that just adds to the cool factor a leader needs, right?...

At the end of A Quiet Place Part II, things are flipped from how the first movie resolved its terror. Played by Game of Thrones and 7 Days in Hell actor Kit Harington, the Eternals version of Whitman is portrayed as a pretty regular human in a romantic relationship with Gemma Chan’s thoughtful Eternal, Sersi. But there’s still some doubt over whether Whitman will ever become the Black Knight in the MCU, as he does in the pages of Marvel Comics. In the comics, the Black Knight possesses the Ebony Blade, a sword blessed by Merlin that can protect whoever wields it but can also drive them mad....

Netflix’s Wednesday series is currently holding the number one spot on the streaming service’s top ten list, and has been generally well-received by fans and critics alike since it premiered last week. But unfortunately, even shows that seem to be loved by many have been met with a swift cancellation by Netflix. While we don’t yet know where Wednesday stands and if there will be a season 2 or not, series creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar seem hopeful that their series will get to continue....

When she turns to the camera, we learn it’s not just Asteria, but a beloved figure in DC and pop culture history, and one who could have implications for the DCEU down the line, too. So let’s get down to it… Carter, of course, is one of the most important actors to play a superhero onscreen, having played Diana Prince across three successful and influential seasons of the Wonder Woman TV series between 1976-79....
